Judge Turpin is Alan Rickman and the Beadle is cast- the guy from Topsy-Turvy who isn't Jim Broadbent. (I could IMBD this, but I'm lazy.) That's the thing- who the hell is he going to play? Anthony?

Maybe they're adding a narrator who isn't Tobias? He's kinda old for Anthony, considering their Joanna's like, my age. They've already got a Pirelli too right?

yeah- Pirelli's the guy that played Borat- Sasha Baron Cohen. And Tobias isn't usually the narrator- that's a John Doyle invention, so that's a good chance.

I'm thrilled by it- if Sasha Cohen can sing that is the most inspired piece of casting in years. But see above re: Tony Head, who I love, but...

OOOOH... maybe Sondheim forced Depp out of it and he's playing Sweeney. That would be... yeah, it won't happen.

But it would be brilliant. I'd probably have to go and see it a million times and be inappropriately enthused by Tony Head's hotness. What? I don't care that he's old enough to be my dad.

That's the thing. When I clicked on Sweeny Todd it didn't have his character listed.

Don't joke about Johnny. The fact that he has this role changed my life/made it complete. It was due to this that I met him. Don't you jinx it Wesley!
