Infertility? (and chess)
Hey there! Newbie on this fabulous com! ^^ Not having seen season 4 yet (season 3 has just finished airing in my country), I'm rewatching season 1 episodes, and some questions are arising ;
1) El and Peter have been together for 12 years, they have financial security, have a nice house, Peter's job is dangerous but White Collar is not the worst as far as police is concerned, and both love each other very much. It's unusual (but it happens) for a couple in this kind of situation not to have children. Yes, Peter is not comfortable with children, but I'm sure he'd be more comfident with time. Thus my question - which may have been answered in season 4 or which I maybe forgot if it's been said in season 1 to 3 - : do you think maybe Peter or El is infertile? Or do you see them as not wanting children at all, but by choice?
2) as I rewatched 1:08 Hard Sell, one scene seemed very strange to me : the chess analogy. According to Mozzie, at the time, Sara (oops, mistake) Kate was the Queen, Mozzie the Bishop, Neal the Pawn and Peter was heavily implied to be the Knight (or did I read things wrong?). I wanted to ask the same question now : if we played the Chess analogy now, which piece would each character be?
