At the risk of sounding like a total moron, what exactly is this all about?
I haven't had lj since I was 14 and I am now 20 and it has changed a lot!! I have worked as a journalist and am currently writing my first book. Just found this and it looks fascinating! I understand what is being done and I love it but im very confused about how it works!
What is this fandom thing everyone is on about and drabble and cut tags etc etc =S
I have read the rules and such but half of it is alien to me =(
Can someone please dumb it down for me??
Never thought I would feel old at 20 but damn the blogging world has grown since I was last here!

Technically, you do have to write to complete a challenge. That said, you can write whatever you want and match it to a previous challenge (of which there are more than 400). :-)
How, exactly, do you link it so you can read the post?
I mean, say my story is called 'A House of Cards'. How do I make it so you can read the details of my story, then have a link that says 'A House of Cards' that you click and are taken to the story? I see a few writers have that, all neat and nice, and then I see my post taking up about half a forum page... I don't think I saw how to fix that in a FAQ link, so could someone help me out? Please?
1) Copy and Paste the information above. 2) Replace TITLE, username, FANDOM, PROMPT, PAIRING, RATING, SUMMARY, and URL with your information.
Example:
Title: Story Title Author: wc_moderator Fandom: The Avengers Challenge #: camera (#465) Pairings/Characters: Clint Barton, Steve Rogers Warnings/Rating: PG Notes/Summary: A mission guys wrong and Clint must save Captain America.
Title: Story Title Author: wc_moderator Fandom: The Avengers Challenge #: camera (#465) Pairings/Characters: Clint Barton, Steve Rogers Warnings/Rating: PG Notes/Summary: A mission guys wrong and Clint must save Captain America.
Just a quick question. I have an idea for your latest prompt (wash) and I only refer to it in description (ie. the city might just have been washed in gray, etc.) It sort of sets the mood for each scene. Is that enough of a reference to the prompt?
