[He sits down obediently, waiting patiently for Jane]
A surprise? Oh boy!
[Ok, perhaps not.. he's back on his feet again, tail wagging with excitement. When he sees the gift, his excitement goes into overload - it's not everyday that Dug gets a surprise gift!]
A tennis ball? For me!! Oh! Thank you, Jane! I must be a good dog to get such a great gift all for myself!
[Dug likes Christmas - He had been a little down about missing his Master and the Small Mailman so receiving this gift has really cheered him up]
But I would really like to give you a gift, Jane. Would you like some prunes? My Master always liked it when the Small Mailman gave him prunes for Christmas.
[Looks like he is in deep thought about this!]
Oh! I think you would like chocolate! The Small Mailman always liked chocolate.
...I will find you many chocolates and then you will be happy and like me even more!
[Without another word, Dug starts to walk off, nose pressed to the ground - He's searching for chocolate!]

[He then enjoys his cuddles and kiss before barking - he looks a little sad]
Merry Christmas, Jane. But, I do not think I can come and play, I'm stuck to the flo---
[Dug then realises, with a start, that he can now move! He jumps up before leaping at Jane with a happy bark. Have some face licking, Jane!]
Oh, boy! Oh, boy! I thought I was going to be trapped there forever! Thank you, Jane! You are a good friend! Oh yes you are!
[Moar doggy kisses for you <3]

[She gently pushes him off and wipes all the from drool her face with her sleeve. She gives him a smile and a pat on the head.]
I'm happy I could help you, Dug. And I also brought a surprise for you~
[She reaches into her pocket and pulls out a tennis ball with a red bow neatly tied around it.]

Oh yes, you're a very good boy, Dug. And a good dog like you deserves a present, especially on Christmas.
That's all right, boy. You don't need to get me anything. [Pets.]

[And yep. He's off. Jane stands there, mouth awkwardly left agape, before she collects herself and starts off after him.]
Dug! It's all right, you don't have to go to any trouble...
[Within a blink of an eye she seems to have lost him.] Oh dear. Where did he go off to?
