Difficult morning today. Started off fine - kids woke up without much difficulty, breakfast was eaten, clothing was donned, everyone loaded into the car, drop off Nathan without incident. Then I get to Cantalician, where the rest of the kids go

I'm sorry it was a difficult morning. I looked at the school's website, and it looks like a great school. I'm glad you have a place where people understand your child without criticizing him (or you).

It sounds like what you need is a community that's an intersection of people you could stand in other circumstances and who are also in the parent category.

Not sure where such a thing can be found, but I do know that such individuals exist. Perhaps poke about the blogs and see if you can stand any of the bloggers?

Ok, I'm a bad person because I haven't kept up in a while. So I'm not really sure what is going on. But you mention "spectrum" so I can kind of infer. I'm not going to make parenting suggestions, or say that maybe there is a support group out there where they make things other than carrot muffins. I can't relate to your day to day struggles, but I can relate to "helpful" people offering "helpful" hints that are anything but. I'm sure people think they have all the answers and get frustrated with you when you roll your eyes or politely tell them that they suggestions just don't work for your situation. Because I have that happen to me all the time. It gets tiring to have people who know all the answers try to tell you what is best eh?

Hang in there is the best I can offer. And just out of sheer weirdness, "Cantalician" sounds like someone who might be "Cantalicious" which sounds like something you might be if you are a Cantor...
