I"m sick. I've been sick all week.  It started Monday afternoon.  I got a sore throat.  Then it got worse... So, things at work have been pretty awful.  I have never sturggled so much with anything in my life.  I have no control over the boys and girls in my classroom.  And, I mean none.  I have children who are literally running around and jumping off things.  I'm so afraid that someone is going to get hurt. I pretty much feel like shit. Yeah... best way I can think to describe it.  Oh yeah, kinda feel like I'm a failure. And to top it all off... I'm getting sick. I hate this.

I made it home!! :-D  It feels great to be here! 15 hours in the car... made for a loooooong drive!  I was with my friend Stephanie (another pre-k 3, first year teacher too) for like 10 hours because she lives in Ohio, right on my way home, so we rode together.  It was so nice to have someone with me.  I doubt that I would have been able to make ( Read more... )

It's not that i'm excited or anything.  :-)  My principal ended up with 2 of my children today...  I got kicked and punched by a child yesterday, this child is also quite explosive regardless as to how I handle him... I will be heading home to Michigan about 5am Saturday morning and it can't come soon

As crazy as that sounds it only 6 weeks and 3 days away! I just bought my first Christmas gift!  I bought my dad a plane ticket...  I'm going home for 2 weeks.  My friend Stephanie is going to ride home with me (she lives in Ohio, only 45 minutes out of the way) so we're going to split the rental car and gas.  She will be coming back to VA a week ( Read more... )
