I want to re-read Cryptonomicon, because it rocks so hard. However I'm a slow reader, especially Stephenson, it would take me at least 9 months to get through it. So I decided to track down an audio version. Oh the sucking.

There is a version on cassette at Amazon for only $99. Whee.

Dude. Library.

I've just recently discovered the joy that is putting books not immediately available at my branch on hold, so they can get them for me from far away. This works for audiobooks, too. :)

that's a good idea, I tend to forget about that option.

I still won't get it on CD, but I can rip the tapes if needed.
