last night:
i shucked 20 dozen ears of corn.
i decided that i really do want to grow up with curt.
i realized that i handle stress terribly.

today:
i realized how much i miss church when i don't go.
i got excited about red appliences.
i decided that the dog's name will be puggsie.

trying to love jesus.
sort of fell into a rut.
feel like i am spinning my tires and mudd is flying everywhere.
nate came over last night with lauren and matt though so that was fun.
i hope we hang out more.
cause we can love jesus together.

back from cornerstone.
it is still the sweaty dustbowl it always has been.
and it is still home for me.
with all it's hobo's.
and all it's misfits.
with the jesus lovers.
and the ackward teenagers.
it is where my heart is.
and what i love.
and for one week a year, it is what life is all about!

people believe what they choose to believe.
and i choose Jesus.
because he loves me. and he is there. and he answers my prayers.
departing for cornerstone in 48 hours.
and it is ALL because of him.
i am SO happy.

well crap.
doing my best i think.
don't feel like i'm spending more money than i should.
hoping 150 dollars falls from the sky.
praying so hard.
because i believe this is what he wants. and i know he has the power to make it happen. but the money is still not here. and time is quickly fading. hmm...nervous? a bit. hopeful? a lot. faithful?

cornerstone is 2 weeks away. excitment building. dread of money also building. oh man oh man. still don't know what's happening in the fall. trying to be okay with this. i think i might stay here. because i need to learn that God is just as much alive and moving in Kent, Ohio as he is everywhere else. i think that maybe i need to learn that he can ( Read more... )

trying SO hard to regain passion, before apathy sets in and all of life starts to spiral down again. i love friends. i love curt. i love jesus. i just wish that those things were all there was in life. unfortunatly they are not.
