My love!! I so don't remember how to use LJ...haha. I guess I really have given in to the myspace and facebook! Do you have either one of those?? Good times. I miss you! I will update this thing. One of these days...
I would like to welcome you to the community and would like to invite you to share your thoughts whenever the spirit invites you to do so. I created this community so that it can help me understand the Book of Mormon as well as others can benefit it.
In order to get the full use out of this community, please be sure to mark friend for this community so that it may appear on your friend’s page. Sometimes people tend to forget that they joined in this community and isn’t aware how much is being missed. I try my very best to update this site daily, so that we may get through the Book of Mormon to the year of 2009.
Once again, thank you for joining, and hope to hear your comments.
Thanks for the response over at Elyse Sewell's LJ. (I definitely need to get my page put together at some point, but I mostly just signed up so that I wasn't posting anonymously.)
I live in Salt Lake, but I grew up in Provo and visit family down sometimes, so I'll have to give Sam Hawk's a try. I love Korean food. There used. to be a really great place in Orem that closed, so I'm glad to there's another place to go.
I'm guessing you must have been at BYU if you lived in Provo for a while, and it sounded like you were glad to leave based on what you said at Elyse's site. Any tips you or your sister-in-law or your other spies might have on good ethnic food either in Provo or Salt Lake would be great. (I already know the Bombay House, of course.)
I moved there only for four months while my husband was finishing his undergraduate degree (we married between semesters in December!). I actually liked it ok. I'm LDS and whatnot, so it was kinda nifty to be that close to my church building and walk to do my "Visiting Teaching", but it also meant there were a lot of kinda uppity judgemental types around, although to be honest I HEARD about it more than saw it.
My husband hated it. So I know we'll probably never be back. :P haha. I forgot about Bombay House!!! That place was soooooo good!!! I remember getting the Malai Kofta. mmmm. hahaha.
I keep trying to remember the names of other things but alas I am coming up blank. I will ask my Sis and Bro in law as they are at BYU now. :)
Malia Kofta. Hmmm. Never heard of it. I'll have to give it a try next time I'm at Bombay House. They've got one here in Salt Lake, too. So maybe it won't be too long a wait.
