Global trade is clearly good for India;
-according to World Bank’s director of development policy India has cut it’s poverty levels in half since lowering tariff walls two decades ago.

Motorola seeks to be a responsible corporate citizen. We provide employees with health care, paid time off, training, opportunities for advancement, and in some facilities, child care and health centers. We were awarded a social excellence award in 2003 for our support of the Shristi Special Academy, an independent school for the mentally challenged. We actively work to ensure the health and well-being of our employees in culturally acceptable ways by offering activities like yoga and meditation.
We work to improve the lives of not just our own employees, but the community as a whole. Some of our past community efforts have included blood drives, rural health care efforts, supporting local schools, HIV and AIDS education and assisting the underprivileged.
We hope you will support the building of a new manufacturing facility in Madakeri. It will bring jobs and capital to the city and help ensure a brighter future for future Motorola employees and all the citizens of your community.
