It's official: as of issue #36, Secret Six is no more.

DCU's selection of 52 titles to 'relaunch' from issue #1 will not include our favourite band of misfits and oddballs, the Secret Six.

When I saw the cover of the Suicide Squad I got a really bad feeling, but I was hoping it was just because of Harley's costume redesign. No emoticon of sadness can express how crushed I am right now. I am going back into my blanket fort of denial; nothing bad can happen in a blanket fort.

Why are they doing this? If the book is selling well and getting good reviews then--?... The whole DC Reboot is so very fickle.

So I'm a couple days behind the world as usual, and someone directed me to these tweets from Simone. So I guess once DC gets over their 52 titles limit or some of these titles fail and open up new spaces, then they'll consider adding Secret Six back. Of course, whether she gets Deadshot and King Shark back would be another matter. If she does get them back (and she needs to), the first issue has to be everyone laughing at how ridiculous their new looks are. No, not even Harley on the cover could hide that.

While I was reading her tweets today, Simone had also linked this Catman action figure.
