I was going to wait until our American cousins had a chance to see the film, but I've been sitting on this post since 25th April and I'm over seeing the tab open. Besides, I have to reboot for some updates so ...

Seriously. All the tears being shed & I'm just thinking "NO! IT'S NOT LIKE THAT!" And there'll be more tears over the weekend as everyone else catches up.
Then there's fandom wanting it's sacrificial Phil and all the angst/hurt/comfort that'll bring and I'll be sitting here thinking "NO! IT'S NOT LIKE THAT!" and going slowly out of my mind. ;)

BUT, boo on killing off Coulson. SERIOUSLY!?! Joss, why! I like your theory. He better not be dead; even so, he'll live on in fanfiction forevers.
I loved all the Tony&Bruce bro parts, and Hulk punching Thor was PRICELESS. They did a good job balancing all the multitude of characters (poor Hawkeye, spending half the film magically brainwashed).
Can't wait for the DVD, so I can see it again, and all the special features, etc.

After all, what are those bozos up in Westchester County (i.e. the X-Men etal) for if not curing the mostly dead?
Also - an interesting note on the dialogue - at one point when talking to Loki (I think!) Tony says 'His name IS Phil' - why use present tense, when past is correct?
Still - need to go see that again
