SPOILER TO THE MAX firebert189 July 21 2007, 20:59:05 UTC
*****spoiler spoiler spoiler*****

Seriously, no joke, stop reading, unless you want the ending.

I must admit that i was worried, that i began to doubt snape as i ran out of book to redeem him, as he died i wondered if this was the end, that after all this time our trust had been misplaced, and then when harry went over to him i knew it was coming, and then the amazing pensive scene, and then the talk with Dumbledore, and then the ending, which i still don't feel right writing. I'd thought he was going to die, even though i'd hoped he didn't, it seemed as cliche' as making snape evil. But when he started coming to grips with his death, willingly going towards it, i figured he'd survive. I was a bit put back when he seemed dead i was almost, but when i realized he was still alive i was super happy, and then then ending Awesome awesome stuff. I'm so glad Snape deserved trust.

Snape was one of the best man, we knew it!

I was so glad when Harry reached the memory-part, because I thought, as Snape was dying, that there won't be any more Snape-stories, but then ... that was really sad. I just wished he'd die a better death than being bitten by this shitty snake, but well ... at least he deserved trust!

We were all right about Snape being good, so that's ok to gloat about.

Indeed!! I wanted a portrait AND a decent funeral for Severus! My only comfort is that Harry announced to everyone in the Great Hall that "Snape was Dumbledore's!" Dammit, he still should have had a decent funeral, or portrait, or statue, or something, besides the child-naming tribute...sigh..

SPOILERS GALORE...

We were right to trust Snape, in the end! I wanted him to survive the book; I wanted him to make peace with Harry, if he had to die. But the death scene was beautiful--he wanted the last thing he saw in his life to be Lily's eyes, after handing his life-memories off to Harry. I only wish JKR could have written him a funeral, or a headmaster's portrait, or have him still around in spirit, hopefully reunited with Albus and Lily. Maybe all that's for us to write, perhaps.

But anyway, we who supported Snape have WON!! *sighs in relief*

And I still love him desperately!! *hugs Severus*

*group hugs with Severus, Fred, Tonks, Remus, Albus, Lily and Hedwig*

some spoilers. effin_peaz July 22 2007, 08:57:03 UTC
I was worried, as mentioned earlier, coming toward the end at Snape's death. (Hated the way he had to die, btw) I was praying that wasn't the end, and am happy that everything turned out right.

I think it's okay to gloat, because it really irritated me to see people who believe Snape was bad say that those who believed he was good were stupid.

I have waited for this day for a long time. We win.

*hugs all around*

*hands kleenex around* I cried a lot. I'm listening to Coldplay's "The Scientist" on repeat. I think it fits our favorite Potions master.

I raise my bottle of Vanilla Coke up to the fallen. And thank you, JK Rowling.
