Some theories on Eileen and Tobias' "marital bliss" would nice, considering that 2 years and 774 pages later all we got was "Yeah! They're still arguing, but I'll be out soon so PEACE-OUT, YO!"

That, and Voldemort mentions other women in Sev's life who are "worthier of his blood status" or something (I strategically left my DH copy at home to avoid distraction at the workplace, so I can't remember his exact words :P). He said that to Harry though... something about other chicks to get Sev's mind off muggle-borns like Lily.

AND WILL WE FIND OUT THE INFORMATION ABOVE IN THE "POTTERPEDIA"???

The more I think about it, the more I realize that even with all this new exposition on Snape, he's still a hard character to predict.

For instance, if he hadn't been bound to Dumbledore or Voldemort, what would he have wound up doing with his life? I am hard-pressed to imagine any profession that would suit his personality (perhaps, ironically, an Auror like Harry, due to his proficiency in Defense Against Dark Arts), but then, we aren't given a very clear picture on what all the other adult Slytherins do for a living, because instead we only see them as Death Eaters. Therefore, I don't know what industries in the Potterverse attract people like Snape.

I always thought he'd love to be an Unspeakable. It just seems to fit him.

How apt.

I vaguely remember reading that some Unspeakables in the Dept. of Mysteries study the power of love.

How about a debate on how JKR's personal perspective on Snape influences fandom's views of him...?

I've modified it a bit, read it and see if it's what you had in mind.

How the bloody hell did Eileen even end up with Tobias, if she were a Slytherin and passed on her predjudices to her son? That makes no sense. It made sense if she weren't a Slytherin, but the way young Severus behaves, it makes none at all.
