Beginning of Germany Pics

Aug 03, 2007 12:10

So I am going to start the picture posting...

There will be a lot and will take a while to load...you have been warned. This won't be all of them, but a nice beginning.

This is me at the airport. Jennifer took it for me.

This is my first view of Ireland, has nothing to do with the rest of the trip, but I was excited!

This is the Frankfort Train station. I took this to get to Innsbrook. Quite nice although the picture doesn't show the scale quite well.

This, if I loaded the right pic is of the contraption that lifted me onto the train that you see in the background. A weird thing, but it worked! That train was the High Speed train, it was pretty accessible.

This was the older style train, and not accessible in the least, hence the wheelchair being all apart! This train took me from Munich to Innsbrook.

This is the conference room where we had most of our meetings in Austria. The building was built in the early 1700's. The ceiling was a amazing along with the intricate artwork on the walls that you can see behind the screens.

This is the view from my hotel window. Gotta love the nice view of the alps. The screen in between the window was to keep pigeons from roosting on the widow sills and coming into the hotel!

This was taken from 2200 meters above sea level. Nice ski area above Innsbrook.

The redhead is Paula who I might be interning with next summer in Yorkshire. She was a lot of fun to hang with.

This is me with the alps in the background. One of the few shots that actually included me in it.

Well I will post more, that is all I am going to post of my trip up to Innsbrook. I have more from Vienna, Dresden, and Berlin to come, but I want to make sure this posts okay.

Cheers!!!
