Last night it caught up to me. I went to bed at a little after 8. I woke at 7 this morning and was up for 2 hours then slept until 1:45. I'm still a little tired actually so I hope that I'll sleep well tonight

The lack of humidity in the air on airplanes causes the mucus in your nose to dry out - this leaves you more vulnerable to nose-bleeds AND sickness (the mucus keeps the germs out).
I usually stick a decent sized glob of vaseline or other lip balm in my nose as I get on the flight. Everyone around you thinks that you are picking your nose - but whatever, you won't get sick!
