I get more and more overwhelmed each time I watch it. I was at a Super Bowl party tonight when I first saw it and so didn't realize how moving it was initially. But then I came home and played it over and over again and the tears came. I can't even describe what it's like to recognize all those landmarks and to see them celebrated like that. It may be a Chrysler ad and I may be from a Ford family -- basically every family from the Detroit area contains at least one person who's worked for a car company -- but it means more than I can say to see any part of the US auto industry gritting its teeth and announcing its presence on a national stage in a way that is just so quintessentially Detroit.
