Ok, so I asked someone to go out tonight. Perhaps by the asking, what I was really suggesting was a date. Yes, a date. A first official, though unspoken date, for me, anyway.

DENIED.

Oh well. That's how it goes.

Oy, that's happened to me before.

I don't know if I got rejected because I genuinely wasn't liked, or because I took the initiative.

No, I think I got rejected because it's a Friday, and for the old working folks, that means a day of R&R. Afterall, what's the work week for? Detox, of course.

I think it's a sign that we are different people. I like to try to go the romancing route: dinner, movie, walk under the stars, dancing in the street as if no one is watching...perhaps I am a bit insane. I mean, does a woman really want those things????
