Damn! "Tom Petty and the Pacemakers." I totally would have stolen that for my blog. :)

Suffice to say Dad's pun had something to do with being a "straight up" ad...

The game was excellent, but the commercials were pretty lame overall. The Sales Genie ones were retarded. I think I've seen enough of the implausibly testing trucks commercials to last a while. I don't really care that the Tundra can avoid the Pit and the Pendulum when it only gets 15 mpg.

Tom Petty's act was just ok. It seems that the NFL is just playing it safe. Who are they going to get for Super Bowl 62 though? Eminem?

I thought that those Sales Genie commercials were horribly racist. Those over-the-top accents were awful.

Did you mention the truck commercial with the wildlife singalong? It started with a squirrel jumping into the passenger seat and was joined by other critters. I approve of the use of squirrels in advertising.
