It's August 22, 2010. I arrived here on August 19, 2009, 11 months after receiving my job offer for the job that is about to become my longest stint at any job.

No energy to write a long comment at the moment, unfortunately-- but just wanted to say that I feel many of the same things about Turkey currently. There are things that are still difficult and still new and wonderful, and two years is both too much, enough, and never sufficient.

You have it SO much more intense than I. And I always feel sheepish reading about your Turkish skillz. *hangs head* But yeah... there's always more to experience.

I'd still love to make it down there, and with the new job, I think I may actually be in a position to do so - I'll have a better idea in a month or two.
