...So, um. I don't think any of you were firstborn or anything. But I had...

It was sorta like in the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, I guess. I had this whole life, and then I came back to being 14 again. Might be 15 by now. I... really don't know. I mean, a whole life. I guess it was like a dream, where lots of time can pass in the story ( Read more... )

I'm not a firstborn. I've heard other people speak about their experiences, and it seems like it differed for every person.

I hadn't heard that anyone had lived an entire lifetime. I don't I'm sorry that's rather... a horrible thing to move so far into life and then be thrust back into the body of a much younger self.

If you want to talk about it, I'm here. You know that, don't you? How ever much time you need, I'll set aside for you. No matter what else I may be doing. You have my mobile number so call any time.

You'll be home sometimes, yeah? Des brought me home. I haven't seen Miss Donna since I got back. She's really upset about the kids, isn't she?

I miss them.

Anyway, I know you'll listen. You're my mum. :)

Maybe we can have tea and biscuits soon?

Sometimes. It's going to be rather busy at the hotel for a long while, I should think. Suffered quite a few damages from the plagues so there's plenty that needs to be done.

Yeah, she is upset about them. Just as I'd be upset if something were to happen to you. I miss them, too. Very much.

Of course. :) Not all Mums are as nice as I am though, yeah? And I had to make sure you knew.

Yes, very soon. I'll come home for a bit tomorrow if you'd like.

I'd thought this was all a dream. I was home and all. I looked you up, though, and called you a couple times. Just to hear your voice. My mum Chrissy... she was my mum, by blood, and I loved her loads, but she was just... more like a crazy aunt, y'know? You're like a proper mum should be.

I'd like that. Only if it's not an imposition, though.

I'm really glad you're not dead. That's all, really.

What was it like, though? What did you do when you grew up? Did you have a family or anything? Were there aliens?

Loads of aliens. And I got a master's degree in electrical engineering. And I--

Okay, this is sort of a secret, 'cause it's weird but also I sort of wish it could've actually happened, but... you know my friend Sarah Jane, from back home?

I sort of married her.

I kind of wish I could have been a firstborn now. It sounds neat. :)

Really? Wow.
