I was messing around with the ideas for my fem!vessel Castiel cosplay.
So first off, I have just a (ridiculously small) sketch of the idea for Jane Novak's outfit. She'd be a saleswoman and a mother, a modest churchgoer.
My working outfit idea has a pencil skirt (to or slightly past the knees) with grey stockings, heels (nothing too outrageous, grey or black), a white button up (I have a few different sleeve possibilities), with a black vest instead of a suit jacket. A blue scarf, loosely and a bit messily looped, and of course the coat. Ideally, I'll even switch out the male overcoat I have with a female cut one, but that's only if I can find an affordable one. Otherwise, we can just say Jane took her husband's coat that day.
As for hairstyles, I have a few ideas (THERE IS MY FACE AHEAD WITH HAIR MSPAINTED ON):
The bob is what I typically draw her with, and the hairstyle I think a woman like Jane Novak would have.
this is so badly done, but gimme a break I have a mouse okay The pixie, a shorter, messier bob is what I was really going for here but you get the idea.
You're not Sherlock what are you doing with that hair. Idk, wavy/curly?
I'm not a big fan of the luxurious hair I usually see on female vessel Castiels, but it is an option. The make up is just me being silly. (I do intend to wear light make up as it is typical for businesswomen to wear some.)
stop being stupid self
On a side note, the contacts I got were really cheap show my own eyes in the center. I actually kind of like the effect, as my eyes are hazel (typically green-orange). gives them a bit of intensity/other wordly-ness. Or maybe only I think I look cool idk.
One last thing, a stupid accessory I just have to add. My friend (going to be fem Dean) who really is my BEST FRIEND IN THE ENTIRE WORLD made me this for Christmas:
so I'm going to wear it and be like
'Deanna made this for me
She said it was a friendship necklace
I don't understand, but I will treasure it always'
(while friend pipes in 'I did not I just said I was bored okay')
WE ARE HUGE NERDS.
So that's what I have to say today. My mom blames herself for the nerdy things I do and it is hilarious.
