[The door opens, and there stands Tatsumi, looking blankly out from the doorway... then his stare moves to Tsuzuki, and his expression changes to shock. Only after a long pause does he speak.]

Tsuzuki-san...

[ Blinking a little before turning his head back to follow the direction of the voice, Tsuzuki sort of stares at Tatsumi for a time before smiling and holding up his keys between his thumb and forefinger ]

I wasn't sure how long it had been or if we were still living here, so... I didn't want to just come walking in...

[The keys. He still had them - this is Tsuzuki, this is the one that had left a few months ago. There'd be less explanation to give, but it's still a mixed blessing. He blinks, remembering his manners as he stepped to the side of the doorway.]

Well, don't just stand there. [He gestures to Tsuzuki to step in - he'd already forgotten the groceries he was about to retrieve.]

[Hisoka had already wandered over to the door to say goodbye to Tatsumi, only to completely freeze at the familiar voice on the other side. When Tatsumi steps aside, the teen stares in utter shock at seeing Tsuzuki in the hallway.]

That's right. I was here for almost half a year at one point then I went back to my own world for a while.

I guess I must have fallen back in here somehow.

Have you not heard of people returning with their memories of the City before?

I don't seem to remember a single thing of my last stay here, so yes, it does come as a bit of a surprise that others would.

Ahh... Well, that is an odd experience, I'll admit that. When I arrived for the first time I had a similar feeling since I'd apparently been here before also.

But yes, in some cases people return to the City with memories of it. The more common is that they have their memories cleared, however.

Have you got friends here, though? From your world, I mean.
