Meredith/Cristina drabble
Today is projectjulie's birthday, and in her honor I a) wore all pink to the gym, and b) wrote a Grey's Anatomy drabble, x-posted to her own comments in hopes she'll actually see it sometime soon.
If you squint the right way it has spoilers for last week's episode, though not in a painfully plot-revealing way.
Meredith wakes herself up with a loud snore and finds her arms still wrapped around Cristina's waist, the covers caught on their legs.
Cristina doesn't care that Meredith snores. Or...maybe she hates it and she's never said anything, but that doesn't seem likely.
This is Cristina, who thinks that because she holds herself to a higher standard that it's perfectly acceptable to punish everyone else who fails to meet her requirements for advanced personhood.
Cristina's chest rises and falls economically, no wasted effort. That's good. Cristina would approve. Meredith pulls the blanket back up and closes her eyes again.
