what you're saying/doing makes sense though. what you're passionate about are the only things in the world worth pursuing, money etc. are just the means to pursue those things further.

i've got some meta thing going on where i'm passionate about making sure i'm passionate. for instance i really get mad at myself for occupying a brain cell with anything useless and work related because i know it's taking up space that could be used for something else. i totally don't think that's actually how your brain works but you know what i mean.
