On Marriage... (or An Engaging Topic)

I asked Jessi to marry me.

For Some reason she saw fit to agree.
1. I had to look up the proper spelling of 'marriage'.  Seriously, I did.  I know Married... The word just did not look all that right to me.

2. I am known by most as having said that marriage is punishment for stealing bread in some countries... I really have never 'wanted' to marry
