After days of waiting patiently I finally got to see Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The reviews of the movie have...not been kind.

So...yeah, it wasn't perfect. The animation was a little stiff, the character models make everybody look like freaky puppets (not that that's really hurt...oh, pretty much every CGI movie ever...) and the main plot -- ( Read more... )

My take on Clone Wars was that it was effectively a long Saturday morning cartoon. If you went in expecting more, you weren't going to get it, but I didn't.

What I didn't get is why you needed the Hutt to be Truman Capote. What did that add?

And at first it really bothered me that Obi-Wan lied about surrendering. But now that I think about it, he'd probably explain that he was surrendering from a certain point of view.
