That seems weird that they'd not televise all of wimbledon, since it is wimbledon? But on the flip side, I guess they don't feel that it's worth doing for the viewer draw :\

Ohh, are you going to make the weird shoulder strap bag that Fraser always has?

And good luck on applying to the PhD! But whoa, that's the first time I've ever heard of anyone having a stipend that outstrips what you get paid as a wage.But on the other hand, a MS will be over with faster at least?

They did televise some of the wheelchair games in the end (Ma managed to watch the finals). I think the issue for some of it is that there are a lot of courts *g ( ... )

Ahh, that makes a bit more sense.We get paid slightly below what minimum wage here would make, but that tends to be done by assuming you're working X hours and so forth, though it is enough to live on? Not do much else beyond that, though.

Ohh, if the PhD is only 3.5 years, then I'd aim for the PhD! I was thinking it'd be in the length of what PhDs here are (5+ years vs 2 years for MS) but if that's short, go for it!
