Politics always hurts my brain, and my heart. I always try to be informed as I can about things that are happening, but honestly I have to step away from it and distract myself with other things because otherwise it becomes too overwhelming and I feel powerless and helpless. :(
As an American, I mostly know about "the floor is lava" because that is a game we played as children, pretending the floor is made of lava and using furniture to get across the room, etc. It isn't so much done as an adult though, and not everyone played it or is familiar with it, so perhaps that is why people are confused. Also since it's become now a meme of sorts not everyone is up on the newest "challenge craze."

Yeah - I thought due to the meme that they'd maybe know - but it appears not - Brett (Dalton) was so bemused, he just kept randomly mentioning it during his sunday Q&A *face palms*
