Packing

I hate packing. I think I need a "new" trunk or Mum needs to mend it again. The split on the side it getting worse. I'm almost afraid to pack all my books in it. I've gotten my uniforms in and my quills and parchments, but the books... Oh well. If it breaks, maybe I'll get a new-second hand one

Anything is possible. I'd rather like to say "No," but I'm not quite sure I've gotten a measure of their relationship beyond that little physical display.

Of course, Mum might not approve, and she's never been very subtle about what she doesn't approve of. Here's hoping.

Well, then, I for one believe that is an excellent reason to keep far, far from that rickety shack this summer, don't you? Steering clear of both Higgs and stern disapproval simply makes good sense. ♥
