I'm really glad you're home and it's good to see you around, even though this isn't stellar news. I do hope things get better, though. Obviously!!! Don't give up. ♥♥

I'm glad to know you're at home now. Even if the bladder/bowel stuff is still shitty to hear about (sorry 'bout the pun. I had too.)

Yay home! Booo leaking!

Not much else to say. I'm glad to hear you're out of the hospital stretch - it's gotta feel good to have things edging at least slightly back to normal.

wow and fuck, how totally sucky. I mean- how much more are you supposed to deal with? I could try and throw in some sort of encouraging words- but it seems more realistic to just say "this sucks" and acknowledge the real-life sitch. I know you will get thru it- but honestly- enough is enough is enough. Giant hugs, xoxoxo lyn

Very glad you're home (I missed this update on my friends page, and only now saw it because i came here wondering how you're doing).

Because of my paralysis, I am incontinent in bowel and bladder. Surgery solved the shitting-my-pants part, and another surgery solved my pissing myself part. I did intermittent catheterization every four hours(like you mention) at first, but after a couple of hours i usually wet my pants, and so I switched to a condom-cath (an external condom device that fits onto a bag/hose), but that often leaked and so I smelled like piss half the time.

I had a supra-pubic catheter put in in 2001 and I am very happy with it. If it's at all possible for yourself, I highly recommend it.
