I think we all know the answer to this problem. Clearly you must become a journalist and write false and scathing exposes condemning those responsible. also may i suggest arson?

In other news. I think you are perfectly within your rights to be grumbly.

It's like how you almost punched that guy who managed to insult both Kurt Vonnegut and Hunter S. Thompson in a five-minute conversation. People need to quit saying a bunch of stuff about things they know nothing about! (Of course, I realize I'm asking people not to be people here...)

you have every right to be grumbly! i get grumbly when people think Chaplin was like, a pedophile/he always looked like the little tramp and actually had a hitler mustache!

FALSE, Hitler actually donned the mustache because he thought it would make him more like CHAPLIN. therefore - HItler was wearing a CHAPLIN MUSTACHE. bah!

This may be because the music of World/Inferno Friendship Society has gotten me through some severely tough shit, kept my chin up, and that whole album is fantastic but--

Mr Terricloth does not appear to honestly and truly take ANYTHING seriously. Not only that but I read this article and it kind of had some weird shit not very Terricloth-esque.

But yeah, it's-- it's not historical fact, it's not meant to be, the album, the show, it's-- it's homage, it's tribute, it is caricature, it is not meant to be viewed as a history report but more of a story based on truth and legend combined.

Just my two cents.

And that's fine. The show ITSELF doesn't bother me. It's the things that are said in interviews and taken to be historical fact -- I mean it's right there in the news article in black and white, "Lorre played vampires". He DIDN'T! It's more the haphazard style of journalism about Lorre that bothers me than people's well-meaning tributes to him.

Haha I think I may have jumped to conclusions, then. It is the journalism, not the band. He jokes around, it's written as fact. I read that article, like I said, a little while ago and thought it was silly.

Yes, it's the journalism. I just wish that people who didn't take these things so seriously would examine the impacts of not getting the facts straight...

(That said, I do LOVE WIFS's music, and I'm glad they're doing a tribute!)
