Got two e-mails from the University of Iowa on the same day: "UNIVERSITY OF IOWA TORNADO GUIDELINES" and "OPEN FORUM ON FLOOD MITIGATION." And my first thought was "Oh, it's good to be on a Mediterranean island where it hasn't rained in weeks!" But you know what? I somehow, perversely MISS disaster weather! But I hope there ISN'T any disaster
