I've gotten Virtual Gifts today! midnight_writer gave me these roses, and someone else gave my subtle_simmer account a valentines v-gift! Whee! Thank you so much!!
I've also been ambitious today, in spite of sinus-infection, and updated my links and user-info here a little. Not much, because I'm tired and pokey and not very good with such things so it takes me forever, but at least not so out-of-date as it was.
I've added a couple of games to my plate, mostly because I needed a creative-outlet without administrative-hassles. fiery_inception is my love and focus, of course, but with only one character and my copious on-line time, I doubt I'll have any trouble keeping up in the other two I added.
My most exciting news for the moment, though, is a joint-writing venture with midnight_writer! We are working on a multi-chaptered fanfiction together, which will be a pairing I have never written before - though I have read and enjoyed it in the fandom - Severus Snape/Hermione Granger. *eep*!
I'm very excited about it, and a little nervous. I know some people can enjoy almost any character in almost any 'pairing' if written well, while others feel very strongly about certain ones. I know I have my own squicks - I loathe Sirius Black paired with any male - though I loathe him in general so that's not surprising, and I really, really do not like the Remus/Tonks ship in the way JKR slapped them together, which is very sad, because I loved that 'ship after OotP/before HBP. *shrug*
At any rate, rambling again - this new fic project is going very well - we've already written the first three chapters and have outlined it well. One of my first Harry Potter fandom-friends I ever met was quite-whippy, and she has this brilliant post in her journal from ages ago, which is such a great, concise description of how to plan and outline a story. I always refer back to it when I'm tackling something of this length.
I'm really pleased with the progress so far, but what is really exciting is that our friend x24hoursx is making photo-shopped pictures for us related to the story! She's using the played-by images that midnight_writer and I use for our characters at fiery_inception, because midnight_writer plays Hermione in that game and I play Snape - though it's a Snupin-ship game, not a SS/HG one. :) Still, the actor/actress we use for our PB's have become sort of our image of the characters in our heads, so it's fun to see them turned into artwork.

Isn't it awesome?? She even says she's going to try and make something for each CHAPTER! How fun is that?
No, I have not abandoned intention to finish getting Lost Souls Found completely posted on Occlumency at Sycophant Hex. I've had trouble with their new formatting since they switched servers (months ago). I think I've figured it out now, but it's been somewhat daunting. I've got another chapter in the queue there, though, and have only a handful left to go that need to be scoured by my final betas.
That's all for now - I'm heading back to bed to nurse my cold a bit.
