Mrs Weasley,

Please be aware that the journals still 'recognise' me as an Order Member. Some Order Members find this discovery distressing, so I feel it is only fair-warning in case you wish to communicate something you would not wish me to see.

So. Since you asked. My health is as satisfactory as it ever is. The rest of your inquiries I cannot attest to. Though I am content with my mental stability, I am certain others would argue the point. AS to the Gala, it is my intention not to attend. However, Headmistress McGonagall has other intentions. Unfortunately, I would not advise making bets as to which of us will win the conflict.

Molly. My name is Molly, Severus. There are no children present, so there is no need to retain such a sense of ridge formality.

Distressing? Why do I have the feeling that that is code for 'induced a fit of indignant rage'...

I've no problem with you being included in the communications, but I'll keep in mind, that if I have information with that I wish to share with the others I think you shouldn't be privy to or bothered with, - most likely the latter - to tack a 'sans Severus' onto the end of the tag for clarification.

Health and mental stability are inevitably linked to one another. As one deteriorates, the other will surely follow. Frankly, I think you just need to get out more. Perhaps you should come over for a chat. You know what they say, any company is better than none at all.

A battle of wills between you and the Headmistress? No offense to you, Severus, but if I had any money to bet, it would be on Minerva.

Mrs WeMolly,

In my experience most people reserve their first names for use amongst friends and colleagues. I could scarcely presume to be either, so would not use your first name without invitation.

Yours would be an accurate summation.

Any company? Now I fear you forget whom you are addressing. Or rather, perhaps your daughter has not communicated my present living arrangements. My very small house presently contains Lupin's pack of lycanthropes, quantity six, former students from my House, quantity two, and house-elves brought into the mix by one of said students, quantity also two. Company, of any sort, I do not lack. Five minutes solitude, I do. However, I appreciate the offer. You will not offer again after Bellatrix has finished eviscerating me in her confessions.

Just so. I suspect I will see you on Saturday next.

I was actually refering more to myself. Arthur has been spending an inordinate amount of time at the Ministry as of late, leaving me to tend to a regrettably empty and silent house. Think me mad if you will, but there's only so much solitude this woman can take before she feels the need to strangle something.

I'll be there. You have Charlie to thank for that.

I hope you've been well- it was good to see you at Fleur & Bill's place.

These last few weeks have been utterly crazy. I wouldn't mind sitting down and having a chat with you sometime. If you wouldn't mind either. Sometime after the Gala perhaps? It's been so crazy at the office as well, I've not seen Mr. Weasley at all. Hope he has been doing ok too.

Arthur's been as good as he can be. He's been keeping himself busy, so I'm not surprised you haven't seen him. I really haven't seen him...

A sit down sounds like a good idea to me. It would be nice to get to talk to you, catch up. Call me old fashioned, but while these journals are nice for quick contacts, real conversations can only be carried on properly over a hot cup of tea and a few biscuits.

I'm sorry Molly- with what has happened, things kind of just tumbled out of control and I've haven't been around the office much lately. I had hoped he wasn't feeling the effects of all this nonsense. It has been so hectic over there; I barely escaped out of there alive yesterday, and won't even go into what it looked like this morning.

I actually just returned yesterday and had to work out a few more days to not have to be there. S'why I went to my parents. Though, now I'll be staying here with Mum & Dad for a while to get some affairs in order.

Yeah, I'd really like that. I feel like it's been ages since I've been out your way. There is something I would like to have a face-to-face talk about with you when that time comes.

Mrs. Weasley,

The Headmistress has managed to convince me to attend the Gala, so I will be there.

I am - alright. I have my ups and downs, but the ups are increasing in number, so I think I'll take that as a good sign. Physically, I am healing. On last injury is healing rather slower than I'd like, but healing all the same. Thank you for asking.

How are you and Mr. Weasley doing?

It'll be good to for you, Harry. A little fun and frivolity does the spirit wonders. And if those vultures from the Prophet start circiling with a little too much intensity, I'll be happy to help create a distraction so you can beat a hasty retreat.

It's good to hear the physical wounds are healing, and if you ever need someone to talk to about anything, Harry, dear, I'm more than willing to lend a sympathetic ear.

Arthur and I are as well as can be considered. He's been spending far too much time at the office, though, if you ask me. Doesn't get home until 10 or 11 PM sometimes when he used to get back around 4 or 5.

These sorts of things have never been fun for me, Mrs. Weasley. Just ask Ron what the Yule Ball was like back in fourth year. I am a horrid dancer and a rather good sulker. Its a dangerous combination for these kinds of events.

Thank you, again. I don't know how much talking I have left in me, but I wouldn't mind a nice visit to the Burrow to see you. Ronand HErmione have been - busy lately. Perhaps I'll just come on my own.

Mr. Weasley has always been a hard worker. I imagine the Ministry takes advantage of that really needs him these days. Hopefully, he'll get a break soon.

Hullo, Mum. Everything's going along well enough. I'll be there, of course, but then you'll see me on Saturday before the ball.
