I hope your dad gets it! :) And totally not a stranger to weird injuries, I've peeled off part of my skin with a peeler and sliced a finger with a table knife :p Man, they both bled so bad too, I was more scared of the bleeding than the actual injury haha.

Background check is good. Sometimes it's a stalling mood if they have a second candidate coming in that will take a week or two, but heck it's usually good if they think you are worth stalling.

Sorry about the fingers, but sounds more unpleasant and painful than serious.
