Oh hon, I am so sorry. The way Alida has been lately, I've been in your shoes - watching the train coming down the track and knowing there's nothing to stop her from pushing me onto the track ( ... )

That melatonin sounds like something. I will probably take him to his pediatrician to see what he has to say.

And the extended car vacations' and day trips' stressing me out is probably more me than them, and that's a whole other kettle of stress. And maybe that's causing Kid[1]'s sleeping problems.

On the lack of Zoners here: I've been really bad about checking here, and yeah, it seems like everyone's gone over to Facebook or something like that. Why aren't you there?

What he's saying is worrying to me. It sounds like the kind of thing a child might say who has had a bad experience with an adult and has been traumatized by it. I think it may be helpful to get the advice of a therapist or, at least, your pediatrician. I may be way off here, but if I heard my son saying stuff like that, I'd be very worried about something that might have happened to him.

Hope I am COMPLETELY wrong about that.

I hope so, too, and I'll probably take him to his pediatrician. I don't think he has been traumatized by anyone (except his father, but we know how that goes).

It's worse when he's not at home, and we're not sure if it's related to (beside what you mentioned) being overstimulated or being somewhere different than home. But I'll ask the doctor. Thanks.
