You know, this totally reminded me of an article I read a little while back. Nowadays, some parents are letting their kids hook-up in the house. Because they figure, they're going to do it anyways. They rather it happened in a safe environment where they can take the appropriate precautions. Just as long as they don't make it too obvious for the parents.

I just felt like.... Burt's already been through so much seeing Kurt get hurt and being in danger because of homophobia, and I thought that if I were in his position, I'd want to have that reassurance of knowing my son was safe somewhere rather than taking chances out in public.

This was awesome. I'd probably kill Finn if he was my brother though lol But Burt is as wonderful as always. And I would totally let my kids have sex in the house as well. Honestly, I can think of worse things to happen to them than being with somebody they honestly care about in a safe environment.

Exactly! Burt understands that Kurt really cares about Blaine and that they're not just having this teenage fling. I tried to get that to come across when Burt and Kurt are talking about feelings and such.

OK Jude as usual - THIS. I hate the shotgun Fics and the "protect prescious baby boy's virtue" fics. This was perfectly handled and done how as a parent i would like myself to imagine handling the situation.

I like the little details "Yeah there are other things ... " Finn blurting out about he and Rachel, but I especially love the mature responsible way Kurt thinks and discusses things. Just wonderfully done

I feel like Burt is right on the edge where he understands that Kurt is growing up and he's going to be going off to college soon and he needs to start making decisions for himself and understanding how they're going to affect him BUT he still wishes he could protect Kurt from everything and keep him safe all the time. But he's not about to go around protecting Kurt's saintly virtue because he knows that his kid is a young man and he's seen how Kurt handles his life and he knows that Kurt can think for himself and doesn't need to be kept in a bubble.

Ugh, that got wordy without me intending for it to.

Oh my, that was incredibly funny, but very sweet at the same time. Like, the humor balanced well with seriousness, which is fantastic and you don't see that a lot. But I loved this, the fact that Kurt had to explain what he felt after having sex was so sweet, and great that Burt didn't completely freak out besides what I think someone finding out their kid having sex would normally do. Gaaaaah, great job on this! <3

I'm glad the balance worked out well. I had intended for this to be really comical and kind of cracky at first and then all the sudden it became something so much more serious than that. I'm glad you enjoyed the Burt! Thank you!
