Oh Squid... you've made me feel a bit better about this. It's just, not me to be severely serious.

Oho! Sounds like fun, Fall is inspirational and I've got my AAP music to listen too (it's like perfect fall music) and hooray for a birthday! *tosses confetti*

Just keep swimming!

I love the colder months because all the spooky shows come back on Travel Channel and stuff. I'm also a greedy bastard and love Christmas. DON'T JUDGE ME.

You're a fan of those Ghost Hunter shows?! *laughs* Heck, I'm the kid born 4 days after Christmas Day. I get double-presents!

I know... it's just... floaty.

Oooh, not the Ghost Hunters. XD they fake their stuff. I hate the Destination Truth guys too.

I like stuff like where they just talk about supposedly haunted places and tell about them. Like Creepiest Destinations and Haunted Travels and things like that. They usually play something on the history of Halloween too.

XD My friends would hate you. They were born ON Christmas and don't get squat for their birthdays.

Autumn + fall because I love wearing the clothes that come with that time of year. Except sandals; I wish I could wear them in the snow. c:

All I can offer you is a hug, because I've been feeling quite the same way lately. Kind of floaty.

Exactly. Autumn/Fall and Winter are my favorites because I can cocoon and hibernate in layers and sweaters. Really?! Sandals in winter? If that were possible my poor toes would be Popsicles!

Thanks hun. It's not a nice or bad feeling... just off and I like your term 'floaty'. That's exactly what it feels lie.

*hug* It must be difficult to start up in a new state all by yourself.
I'm glad you're trying to stay productive though, stagnation is never good.
Sewing is pretty therapeutic, if the machines don't give you hell. Seeing something come together so nicely (especially something useful like clothing) is awesome.
I have confidence you'll find awesome people in colorado soon. You just have to keep putting yourself out there and being yourself. :D
We'll have to chat again soon, as I had to end our last convo. a bit early.
Yay! I'm exited for a letter. I love letters.
Oh man, I just got some honeycrisp apples at the local market (along with some pears) and i'ma make some pie (with hazelnut crust) soon. :DDDDD
so excited. Which segues into answering your question: I'm excited for the scents of fall. Earthy, wet, smoky. I want to smell cinnamon, cloves, honey, apples, and decaying leaves. I've been craving it a lot lately. 2 more days until fall!
That's what I'm excited about.
Love you!

Sometimes with art you just have to go where it takes you. That's how I ended up with my "Resistance" series. They definitely weren't "happy" images, but they were where I needed to be and I thoroughly enjoyed working on them.

You never know where your art will lead you, but so long as the images flow (or textiles...) I don't see a reason not to follow!

I am looking forward to ygr temperature being below 100! It was 111 yesterday, ARG! Come on not-Summer!
