Yoooooo Lizzzzz. Good to read a post from you again! :D
I hope your cousin makes the best decision he can make!
Also, congratz on your art class going well! (I know it's hard, but i definitely think you can do whatever you want to, provided persistence!) Are you going to take any studios? How's the college there? Good professors?

Hope your german food is good. :D
What's a solar roast mug? solar powered right? What's the roast part? In reference to coffee? I am intrigued.

OOooh, I'm really excited for you to go kayaking! Have oodles of fun!

Miss you.

*sigh* It's frustrating because he's just the sweetest kid and he's my favorite cousin. He grew up without a dad (died at 35 of a heart-attack) and his mom is terribly protective of him as well, and now that he's 19 and ready to get out in the world... idk.

I really hope that he's not going to make this decision (supposedly he would leave for boot-camp in April) and we've steered him towards a better opportunity. His mom suggested that he instead sign up for the Fall group of AmeriCorps. That way he's away from his mom and he gets a bit of money towards going back to college (since he'a lost a lovely scholarship).

I can't believe he was even considering this. It's mind-boggling. Thank you Lemon... It feels better to know that someone else has been in this situation before. He's too smart for the military. Too smart which makes this all the more harder to understand.
