I almost exclusively did AIM roleplays and also not with a whole group at once. Every different person had a different RP and I used to save them in a word program. XDD At the time they were all a blast and I lived for them, but looking back and deciding if they bring fond memories...that depends on the person I was RPing with.

For the most part they bring back so, so much that I love. <33 (Especially oooold RPs with tigglespits; I FEEL SO WARM AND FUZZY LOOKING AT THEM)
But when I think of RPs with this girl who was my best friend in high school...I have mixed feelings. On the one hand, like I said they were a lot of fun and I was really into them, but on the other hand, we brought in so many characters and it went on for SO long that all our characters ended up being related in some reason or another, every soap opera twist ever, etc. It went for SO LONG that a lot of it wormed into my characters past the RP - not in a good way - and I'm still trying to fix the damage XDDD;;;
(I hope that made sense. 8T;; And wasn't too much of a ramble!)

I actually just joined another roleplay tonight, so nice timing! xD I don't think any game will ever eclipse Velvet, though. It has the funniest, most friendly group of people I've ever had the pleasure to play with, and that really makes all the difference. I was really burned out for awhile there on art and writing, but I couldn't be more thankful to them for helping me snap out of it. I feel like I take my art and myself a bit less seriously too, in a good way.

Well, you know the rest of it, I think. <3 Probably my second favorite experience was when I was 8-9 years old, I think? ... Damn, I've been using a computer way too long, haha. Well, I sent e-mails back and forth with Acaisha, and we took turns writing terrible Digimon fanfiction. That's definitely where my love of writing began, though, so I look back on it with a lot of fondness.

Yay for Saubey! I'm so glad you've got something fun to play with. Less serious is good, it is not worth it to become too invested into a story/art-work that you become unhappy.

I mean, the CATS-rpg wasn't my only one but it was the one I spent forever with. Made a ton of great friends and gosh, it's part of the reason I joined dA too.

Hurr-hurr... Digimon fanfiction. Which reminds me, I should type up that stupid hurt/comfort-fic. 8D

Ooh, hurt/comfort? Haha, would this have anything to do with our shared guilty pleasure? Either way, please do! <3

Yeah, the people are really the most important part. And while all these memories are nice, I just got a nice reminder of the other half of roleplay - improvising like mad :I In the new RP I'm in, the person who was going to play my partner decided they were too busy. Time to pick up and play a young emotionless lolita, whoo~

Will you be busy tomorrow? Perhaps I can call you? :>

Actually I was totally going to call you today but... making the best damn pancakes ever got in the way. XD Yes. You can call. But not if I call you first! ;P

YAY. Improv. Omg... improv was the best in my group. Crazy fun and really helps a story to move forward instead of stagnating in one conversation/event.

LOLITA!TIME. Say, Alex, *wiggles eyebrows* You should do a Lolita-esque outfit (or loli your clothes).. you'd be fantastic at it. You know you want to. Break out the sewing machine and add lace and hats to everything! *cackles*
