Friendly Faces Everyplaces
Heathlar is just the most grounded person I've ever met and so hard-working. I feel like I'm channeling her these days. Hard-work and being mature just really feels good right now.
Saubey is a flights of fancy kind of person. Always coming up with ideas for things and actually doing them. Seems I'm channeling him a lot too. Being creative and trying new things.
Guess you guys influence me in a lot of really great ways. What brought on this love-fest? All sorts of things but mostly it's just a lot of reading. Finally own my own copy of Mossflower by Brian Jacques. God, I can't stop crying. It's always been my favorite (Mask the Otter!) and it just brought back a lot of memories of friends past and present. I seem to have grown apart from the friends I had up until 9th grade. It wasn't a lot of friends but somedays you really miss them and then you go, 'But, I made a lot of really great new friends too.' and you stop worrying in about the old-times. I mean I still chat with them once in a while but they're old, old friends and we're more prone to just keeping occasional contact now. To my Heathlar and Saubey, I truly enjoy our friendship even if we are far-apart I feel like we're still in 'tune' no matter where we are.
Okay. Done with the ramble. Working on that dang audition for The Book of Stories-OCT. Holy crap. It looks so much better than my attempt at Forest of Avarice. Got to the finals for that but got so lazy on the art. D: This time it's gonna be epic and if I get in, yay! If I don't, art_Slam anyway! Going to actually clean up all the sketches and stuff tomorrow and get inking. Go me! I'll get thing thing done even if it kills me. And dinosaurs still are taking over my life. Going to order the Charles H. Sternberg biograghpy (or is it autobiography?) from ol' broke Borders. Also, guys. Does anyone remember Danny Phantom? The Butch Hartman show on Nick? I forgot how much I enjoyed it as a kid. I only got to watch it when baby-sitting but it was a welcome treat after the baby-sittees got to sleep. Gonna watch a few episodes and relive my ol' fangirl days. XD Got to get that in before my MASSIVE Series 5 of Doctor Who marathon happens. Series 6 is coming this Easter! So happy. SantaMoffat is my hero.
