The commercials below are for the exact same product. The first is marketed toward women, the other, men. I really, really wish these commercials were reversed, then it would be hilarious.
I know you work in a male dominated field, but I also see there are definitely groups of girls you get together with in them. Now rise up and stomp them down- and not with heels on! heheh.
You can always ascertain potential sexism by simply reversing the two subjects. As you mentioned in your post, this would be stupid funny pertaining to the razors. Schick has used this marketing ploy for years. They often add an extra "conditioning strip" to the 'female' version of the razor. You know, for that gentle, sensitive, feminine touch. Hilarious.
well the guys have had a moisturizing strip for a very long time (I often will buy the man razors because they are the only ones on sale and the EXACT SAME THING in silver instead of pink) Now they have the "color change technology" for the strip. Uh sorry, dudes, it has changed colors and fallen off for as long as they have been making them, they just decided to make this a power point!
But, c'mon Tyler, wouldn't you love to see your lady with wolverine side burns down there? What a delightful surprise!

Women are responsible, organized, trendy.
Men are big children who like shiny things.
