Yes, it was a great night for us and them.Is.it my imagination or are Jessica's lips getting even larger? We (and she) are in danger of them taking over her face entirely.. Also were there a few times when Harvey's hair was brown with a few highlights? Think maybe he didn't have time to change it this week? Busy with the baby, as he should be. Thank you, Xanthe, for turning me on to this program.. I thought I had had enough TV lawyers to last me a lifetime after LA Law, but apparently not. Cheers to all. See you next week. Sarah
Wow - that was a great season opener - things really started off at a galloping pace. I liked seeing Mike's darker side - and Harvey's lighter side. Somewhere those two are gonna meet in the middle *g*.
Harvey really just loves Mike to bits, doesn't he? And Jessica was awesome.
I thought the plagiarism plotline was Korsh fighting a very personal battle, and I totally agreed with him on it.
I just wish Mike KNEW that Harvey had put his own career on the line for him - that bothers me a bit.
Beautiful men though - just beautiful. Even more beautiful than last season. And so much in love!
Interesting back story hints that I was pleased fit totally with my Possession universe - Mike's parents dying in a car crash, Harvey as a big brother who once had a little brother in the hospital and felt protective etc. And the thing about Harvey's 'friend' was interesting. It might shed some light on some of his issues once we find out more. Clearly mom is going to be important this season.
It was a phenomenal way to start the season. I think you're right about Harvey and Mike meeting somewhere in the middle. I also think that if the writers play it right, we could get even greater things out of them because of it.
On one level it bothers me that Mike doesn't know what Harvey risked, but I'd also like to see it sort of laid out there maybe later on in the season. Mike still has some insecurity issues working. It'd be nice if he got that sort of reassurance (and headslap) at some point when he's really starting to doubt if Harvey cares for him.
Loved all the little backstory bits we got and how well they fit into the fanon.
It was excellent, wasn't it? Harvey was just awesome. And so smitten by Mike. And as a bonus, there were some marvelous moments with Jessica and especially Donna, who rocks my world. What a great season opener! I kind of love Hardman, already I'm thinking he's the best smarmy villain ever.
Donna and Jessica were FABULOUS in the episode. The whole thing was really spot on.
I agree with Hardman too. I like the idea that there's someone out there who is powerful enough that Jessica, Harvey, Mike and Donna have to take them on. :)

With Harvey's hair, my understanding is that they're leaving it Gabriel's natural blond now. It just gets a bit darker with product I'm sure.

I'm so happy they stick to what makes Suits great, the close relationship Mike and Harvey have :)
