The days are longer, the air is crisper, the trees beside Robarts Library are all in bloom, and hoodies have replaced the peacoats of February. Spring is in Ontario! Finally, after a solid four months of hemming and hawing about whether it is actually winter or not. Just keep the rain away, alright, Canada?

Acta Victoriana is one of the literary journals at my university - it's been around for a VERY long time, with famous (well, in Canada) past contributors, including Margaret Atwood and Norththrop Frye. I wrote an original short story, which got accepted! C:

I don't get paid for it and it's given out for free, but it's still pretty official as a publication!
