Hehe, it's a project for my drama movement class. My concept was to take a character from literature and expand, through movement, who they are and what they represent. I chose the scene when Marius meets her for the first time because of how horribly wretched it is to see true poverty thrown into your face, around how Hugo wrote about how her natural charm and beauty was completely distorted by her money grabbing father and the circumstances of her living state. Then of course, there's that whole deal about how she's kind of batshit crazy from being cold, hungry and alone all the time...
