Nearly 30 hours ago, I crossed the finish line at L'Enfant Plaza -- completing all 39.3 miles of the 2005 Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in Washington, DC. Yes, I'm just now getting this (very very long) message sent.

hee. way to go waaaaaallkers! :)

and my crew is crazy. the woman we work for at pit 1 - almost the whole team comes back to work with her every year, so they keep asking us to do more and more, and we're happy to do it. walkers have enough to do, we just do what we can. :)

congratulations to all of you. you guys are my heros. :)

Let 'em know that doing the Long Walk™ isn't really that bad, so long as you START with the short ones and work your way up. Yes, I did ~40 miles this weekend... but I've probably done several HUNDRED over the last few months to get ready for this weekend.

Yanno, Team Wench is walking in the Reston Relay for Life...

You could keep walking short ones for now, and just call it training for next year.

Yeah, I *could* walk it... but my fundraising is tapped out. Folks are starting to run away when they see me approach.

Too many good causes, too little time.
