If you're not already a Drak customer, you probably want to pass this by.

But if you ARE a Drak customer, check this out.

Oh babe, we gotta talk. :)

Definitely looks interesting... While I can currently get hosting for free, I will freely admit it doesn't have all the "bells" and "whistles". ;)

Hm.... I see a website in my future... ;)

I signed up with a "normal" plan (paid annually) about 4-5 years ago. Since then, I've moved all of my domains that I "manage" there (including KJC, Haven, and Glenn's old cub scout pack), and my domain is a lifetime account. I keep trying to convince the other three to invest in the lifetime deal since they like the service, but it's a bit of an investment (much less so with a 50% savings!)

So talk away... what can I say... Drak rocks!

See, I had someone point out to me at one point that if draknet goes away, there goes the "lifetime" thing.

However, considering that most of the plans that draknet has would cost the same for lifetime as other accounts would for a year, I think I could handle that.

Hm. Must call you. :)

Yup. They even spell that out, fairly clearly on the page I linked above. They give the potential lifetime-account-buyer a number of reasons why they should NOT take the plunge. But yeah, their prices really are good... and those that are significantly cheaper -- *shudder* -- ya get what ya pay for.
