The bodywriting. Oh. Oh. It suits Matthew so, so well. I loved the sensory details in this, the imagery and the clearly defined emotive quality. You always have such an innate way of writing about love in the way that it's actually felt. ♥ Loved, loved, loved this here: What he writes is Neruda, head bent to better see his arm, biting his tongue in concentration, letters wavering-My soul is an empty carousel at sunset. Verses like this, he thinks, are better suited to be scrawled on someone else.... And not just because I'm a dork for Neruda

I'm so glad you liked the bodywriting drabble! :) I had tons of fun writing it, may or may not share Matthew's kink irl, so it was a little easier, lmao and "All I Need" is such a great song to write to.

Oh, wow, what a compliment. You really know how to make my day. *hides forever* I don't even know what to-fldkjghl. I mean, love (and everything it encompasses or brings with it) is so multi-faceted and complex, there can never be enough interpretations and I hope I do all right.

To be honest, I have no idea how I got the idea for that drabble from "Smells Like Teen Spirit," but I just listened to the Tori Amos' cover last night and her version's almost more appropriate for it. It's...softer, in a way, but also more jarring and immediate somehow, and the piano just. Okay, I'll shut up now. *fangirls Tori always & forever

Tori Amos is a GOD. Okay, I must have listened to her around age 18 for hours at a time and just breathed, in a thousand different ways. She is so much of everything. I adooore her.
