There is a new dorm being built outside my window. They haven't put the roof on it yet, so when it snowed last week the top floor was completely covered. I like the idea of there being snow inside the building. Next year the fact that the dorm will be sealed from the elements and full of people will not change the fact that this afternoon its

i've always wondered about that. when bulidings don't have roofs yet. won't the floor get warped from all of that water? how would a person feel if they knew that the floor they're tossing their chucks and scarves on was once covered in snow? or do they just give up teh top floors to the hippie/wiccan/pagan types who really groove on the idea of their rooms inhabiting the souls of a million dead and melted snowflakes?
